Subject:- Nomination of in-service untrained Lecturers/Teachers for B.Ed. Course through correspondence during the ensuing Session 2011.

Sir,

Enclosed herewith is a list of 250 untrained (Non-B.Ed.) Principals/Senior Lecturers/Lecturers/Teachers for undergoing B.Ed. Course through Correspondence during the Session 2010-2011 through Distance Education at the University of Kashmir against the seats reserved for in-service Teaching personnel of the Department. A wait list of 80 Teachers is also hereby notified herewith to be operated on the seats left on account of non-joining candidates in the select list . The selection of the nominees to B.Ed. through distance mode shall be subject to the following conditions:-

1. That the selected Teachers/Lecturers have put in more than three years service in the Cadre and have not previously undergone such training either in regular mode or by correspondence.

2. that each deputee must have passed his graduation or an equivalent degree before the cut off date for receipt of applications viz 31/12/2010 through a recognized University approved by the UGC/University of Kashmir;

3. That none of the Teachers listed in the statement has disputed eligibility/fake or fraudulent status or is under suspension;

4. That none of the Teachers is working against leave/lien/Falah--I-Aam/ migrant substitutes/ReT, In such an eventuality, the selectee/s (if any) shall not be relieved for the said Course.

The nominated Teachers may be directed to contact the Chairman Department of Distance Education, University of Kashmir Naseem-Bagh Campus, Hazratbal, Srinagar immediately for registration and further instructions. The selectees who fail to report to the concerned authority within stipulated period shall forfeit their selection ipso facto. The particulars of each nominee may be verified from original records/service books and the relevant certificates before giving effect to the selection. It is a pre-requisite that the selectee has passed his/her graduation/post-graduation through a recognized University. It shall be the responsibility of the Chief Education Officer concerned to ensure that the selectees report for registration to the Chairman Department of Distance Education University of Kashmir latest by 10/04/2011. The nomination/ selection letters of Teachers shall be countersigned by the respective Chief Education Officers. All the in-service Teachers put into wait list for doing B.Ed. (Distance Mode 2011) are directed to get in touch with Director, Distance Education, University of Kashmir Srinagar for their registration against drop out seats.
