Subject:-     Nomination of in-service untrained Lecturers/ Teachers for B.Ed Course through Correspondence during the ensuing session 2012-13.




                   A list of 250 in-service un-trained Sr. Lecturers/Lecturers/Teachers is enclosed, for undergoing B.Ed Course through Correspondence during the Session 2012-13 through Distance Education University of Kashmir against the seats reserved for in-service teaching personnel of the Department.

                   The selection of the in-service un-trained teaching personnel for B.Ed Training, through Distance Mode, shall be subject to following explicit conditions:-

1.       The Chief Education Officer concerned shall personally ensure that the nominee Lecturers/teachers have put in more than three years service in the present cadre and have not previously undergone B.Ed Training in regular or correspondence mode.

2.       That the Lecturers/Teachers listed in the annexure have not disputed status or have not Fake or Fraudulent status or are not under suspension.

3.       That the selected nominees are not working against long leave/lien/migrant vacancies or working as ReT. In such an eventuality, the selected nominee shall not be entertained/relieved for the said course.

4.       The Chief Education Officer concerned shall personally verify the particulars of selected nominees with reference to their original Service Book/Qualification certificates/relevant category certificates before countersigning their nomination letters and ensure that the particulars of nominee/selectee recorded in the nomination list are correct.

5        The nominee has passed his/her graduation/Post graduation through Recognized University. In case, if any of the nominee(s) has passed his/her Graduation during service, it shall be ensured that he/she has obtained prior permission of the Competent authority and has availed leave, if required, for completion of the said degree.

7.       The nominee must necessarily be holding substantive appointment and un-interrupted service. The nominee who may be under suspension or against whom departmental proceedings are pending shall not be relieved for undergoing such training.


                    The nominated teachers may be directed to contact the Director Department of Distance Education, University of Kashmir, Srinagar immediately for registration and further instructions. The selectees/nominees who fail to report to the concerned authority within 07 days shall forfeit their selection ifso-facto. The particulars of each nominee may be verified from original records/service books and the relevant certificates before giving effect to the selection. It is a pre-requisite that the selectee/nominee has passed his/her graduation/ Post-graduation through a recognized University. It shall be the personal responsibility of the Chief Education Officer concerned to ensure that the selection letters of nominees are countersigned after verifying all original requisite documents.
